Daddy's Little Girl

http://www.fordham.edu/images/whats_new/magazine/mhcdlg.jpgAnother amazing Mary Higgins Clark mystery!! This is a fantastic thriller, as all Mary Higgins Clark books are!

Daddy's Little Girl follows Ellie Cavanaugh, an investigative reporter for an Atlanta newspaper. Twenty-two years ago, Ellie had found her older sister, Andrea, dead in a wealthy neighbor's garage. While still a young girl, Ellie had testified in the trial of Rob Westerfield, the privileged teenager who was convicted of the murder. All these years later Ellie is returning home: Westerfield is up for parole and she wants to keep the man who murdered her sister behind bars.

But was Westerfield guilty? Higgins Clark sets up doubts in the minds of some of the former friends and neighbors that Ellie meets when she returns home. Still, Ellie has no such doubts, and her attempts to dig into Westerfield's murky past put her on a collision course with her sister's killer. (from

This is an AMAZING book!! You never expect what happens!! You seriously cannot put this book down!!

Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare.

I really did read this book. I know you may think that everyone know what this book is but no one read it- well I did!

Ok this book was really good. I know you may be thinking," You loser!" IT'S ROMEO AND JULIET! But I am serious it was good. I am not going to post much on it because you all know the story like. I just am here to say that you may think that it is such an old book it will stink well that isn't true. It is a classic and I know why. It has one of the most romantic parts in it. It's just so romantic and whiskful. I WOULD READ IT IF I WERE YOU! I Think that you will end up falling in love with it just like it did!

The Princess Diaries: Princess in the Spotlight

http://www.abcbooks.co.kr/wizstock/1175918576.jpgThe Princess Diaries Series by Meg Cabot. This is volume number ll (2) in the series and it is good.

If you have seen the Princess Diaries movie, you would understand basically what happens in these books.

Mia Thermopolis is the self proclaimed "high school freak". She's tall and skinny, with glasses, and not completely through the "growing process". After receiving news that she is the heir to the throne to a small country called Genovia, her life changes drastically. With her new boyfriend, she still isn't happy, as she falls in love with someone else. . .

These books are good, but there are some mature moments and there is a few swear words. The storyline is good and it has some humor to it!

Pride and Predjudice by Jane Austin

Pride and Prejudice my Jane Austin was a fantastic book. I don't know where you begin with this book. It left me speechless. I love the old time language and this book is full of romance and adventure. It just whisks you away for a ride whether you want to or not.

Elizabeth Bennet's Sister is engaged to Mr. Bingsly and his best friend, Mr. Darcy, is very cross and rude. She quickly judges him. Throughout this book many things happen. Mr. Bingsley leaves suddenly, Elizabeths other sister runs off with a soldier, and she finds herself falling head over heels in love with Mr. Darcy.

In real life Mr. Darcy is based off of the man in her real life who she truly loved but never ended up with. I was quick to put this together when I saw the movie, Jane Austen. It is basically a story of her real life. I recommend this book to anyone as long as you can read long words and understand old terms. It changes when you least expect it and it keeps you guessing the whole time. It is a classic love story. I found myself after this thinking things like, "I am much obliged to you" or "I fancy him." No joke I was thinking in words like that. It was crazy. And the language is part of what makes you love it so much. I will definitely read this book again.

Pendragon Book Five: BLACK WATER

http://images.amazon.com/images/P/0689869118.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpgPendragon. . . Book number five in the series by D.J. MacHale. This book is good. Although, it kind of takes a while to get into them if you start on the fifth book (like I did) and don't read the first one first, it takes a while to understand what's going on.

Just when fifteen year old Bobby Pendragon thinks he understands his purposes as a Traveler--to protect the territories of Halla from the evil Saint Dane--he is faced with an impossible choice. The inhabitants of Eelong are in dancer of being wiped out by a mysterious plague. The only way Bobby can stop it is to bring the antidote from another territory. Since moving items between territories is forbidden by the Traveler rules, if Bobby chooses to save Eelong he could endanger himself, his friends, and the future of every other being in Halla.

Warning: You may not like this book if you are not into fantasy and make believe!

I'd Tell You I Love You but Then I'd Have to Kill You

http://ec1.images-amazon.com/images/P/1423100034.01._AA240_SCLZZZZZZZ_.jpgI'd Tell You I love you but then I'd have to kill you by Ally Carter is an amazing book! It also has the longest title in the world! Well, except for those Captain Underpants books . . . :}

Cammie attends a private school called The Gallagher Academy. Everyone thinks it is just a school for rich girls, but what they don't know is that instead of learning Math and Language Arts, they learn Self Defense and Spy Techniques. The Gallagher Academy is a school for girl spies. After visiting a town carnival on a "mission" Cammie meets a boy. He is cute, charming, and... amazing! Cammie desperately wants to meet him again, but she'd have to lie to him to "keep her cover". Nobody outside of the Academy can know about them being spies. As Cammie falls in love, she also realizes that one day, she'll have to tell him what she really is . . .

This is an amazing book! It kind of has a happy ending with a twist. Not once does it swear, and the storyline is so creative! I would definitely recommend this book!!!

The Gable Faces East

This book is called the Gable Faces East. It is by Anita Stansfield. She is an amazing author who is LDS. She expresses positive views about the LDS religion and all with an intriguing twist. The Gable Faces East is a historical romance fiction with remarkable characters.

Jess Davies is a perfectly normal man, with perfectly normal enemies. After his mother is killed in a house fire, Jess convinces himself that his enemy Chad Byrnehouse was responsible for the fire. For as long as Jess can remember, his and the Byrnhouse family have hated each other.

After a tragic accident, Alexa Byrnehouse finds herself in desperate need for a job, a home, and money. Her only option is to turn to Jess Davies, a family enemy for a job. The job is more than she could've hoped for, plus more.

This story will NOT let you put it down. Things come when you least expect in this book, which is amazing! I stayed up long hours because I couldn't stop reading. This is one of my favorite books and I hope you can have the same experience.
